Alliance Quest™
A gamebook for parents and teens for life after 18.
Turning 18 changes things but most families are not handed a rulebook.
Alliance Quest™ helps teens and parents get on the same map before adulthood becomes a guessing game. This gamebook uses games, real-life questions, and a written agreement to help families talk through expectations, support, responsibilities, living arrangements, and what comes next after high school or turning 18.
This is not a lecture.
It is not a contract.
It is not a fight.
It is a structured, honest, and surprisingly engaging way to answer the question:
What actually changes as you move into adulthood?
How It Works
The Guide (parent, guardian, or trusted adult) starts by completing a private Solo Map. This helps them think through what paths are available, what support they can provide, what expectations matter, and what they want their Adventurer to understand.
Then the Adventurer (teen or young adult) joins for three interactive games:
- Fact or Trap
- Know Your Adventurer
- Real World Over / Under
After the games, the Adventurer reads the completed Guide Map alone, writes their honest reaction, and then both come back together to talk through gaps and complete the Alliance Agreement.
What Families Talk Through
Inside Alliance Quest™, you’ll work through:
- Living at home, moving out, school, work, military, or gap year options
- What support continues, changes, or ends
- Rent, groceries, insurance, income, and real-world costs
- Parent expectations and teen priorities
- Non-negotiables, responsibilities, and support boundaries
- A 24–48 hour touchpoint and 30-day follow-up plan
Who It’s For
Recommended for ages 16–23
Great for:
- High school juniors and seniors
- Recent graduates
- Young adults living at home
- Parents preparing for the transition after 18
- Guardians, mentors, grandparents, counselors, and trusted adults
- Families who want fewer assumptions and clearer expectations
What Makes It Different
Alliance Quest™ does not just ask families to “have a talk.”
It gives the conversation structure.
The Guide writes the map first.
The Adventurer gets time to process.
Both people play the games.
Then the family makes a plan together.
The goal is simple:
Less guessing.
Fewer surprises.
More clarity.
A stronger alliance for what comes next.
